  • Inviting Twa and other vulnerable people to cultivate on FRED’S FARM land.
  • Having an open door policy on FRED’S FARM, functioning as a meeting place for all in the community.

Increase number of children attending school
by
  • Empowering parents (see above).

  • Identifying "jiggers" and providing treatment for Twa children.
  • Supporting the local school in their effort to provide one nutritious meal a day: providing moringa seeds and seedlings to plant in the school garden.
  • Evaluate and follow up the "solar lamp library", reading lamps.

  • Offering farmer training in modern organic principles, e.g. more efficient composting.
  • Promote agroforestry.
  • Propagating seedlings and providing a selection of nutritious plants to farmers who participate in training.
  • Establishing a "demonstration plot" on FRED'S FARM to show what and how plants can be grown on a small farm holding.
